GET INVOLVED

Your views are really important to us. Help us to improve and develop your service the way YOU want it! We want to work with you to make sure we are getting it right

At CAMHS, we feel it is really important to involve you in your own treatment and in developing our service so that it’s based around your needs and ideas.  Participation is the active involvement of young people and their family members in making decisions within therapy and about CAMHS in general.

Your views are really important to us and can change things. We want to work with you to make sure we are getting it right. There are two groups, a young person group and an adult group, they both run monthly.

How can I get involved?

We regularly run group sessions which are open to any young person, and their parents/carers or other family members, who has accessed CAMHS or is waiting to do so.  We also run participation events during each school holiday for children, young people, parents and other family members. You do not have to attend groups or events to become involved however, as you can take part through email, telephone, or individual meetings if it feels more comfortable that way.

Want to know more?

Please contact Anna Doughty or Leonie Lester (leonie.lester@nhs.net) for further details. Or: HNF-TR.CAMHSparticipation@nhs.net

You can also ask your CAMHS Clinician to contact Anna to pass on these details and your email address or phone number.
